Short answer

Most do not fix the underlying problem, and a new logo does not create demand. Some drew attention, with no guarantee.

How to check it yourself

  1. Compare trading volume before and after the takeover.
  2. Check whether the holder count grew or shrank over the following weeks.
  3. See whether the new team publishes what it does and links proof on-chain.
