Short answer

You do not need to code. Check that source is verified, and look for mint, blacklist, tax and owner controls with a scanner.

How to check it yourself

  1. On the explorer, check that the contract source code is verified.
  2. Run the address through a token scanner and read its notes on mint, blacklist, tax and owner controls.
  3. Check whether ownership is renounced or still held by one wallet.
