Short answer

Find the burn transaction on the explorer and confirm the receiving address cannot spend.

How to check it yourself

  1. Open the burn transaction hash on the block explorer.
  2. Confirm the receiving address is a known burn address with no owner.
  3. Check that the address's token balance grew by the amount claimed.
