Short answer

The gap between the price you saw and the price you got. Your tolerance setting is the worst price you accept.

How to check it yourself

  1. Find the slippage setting in your swap app and note its current value.
  2. Compare the minimum received on the confirm screen with the amount you expected.
  3. After the swap, open the transaction on the explorer and check the amount you actually got.
