01The news
PONS, the launchpad where FOMOEgg was born, has approved the FOMOEgg community takeover. The approval came by email from the PONS takeover desk on September 25, 2026, under a two-word heading: "Redirect approved." On October 14, 2026, at 7:06 PM ET, the creator-fee switch executed on Robinhood Chain. PONS's own takeover page now lists FOMOEGG as Completed.
In plain terms: the creator fee from FOMOEgg trading now goes to a wallet the community runs, not to the original creator's wallet. Nothing else moved. The contract is the same. The supply is the same. Nobody migrated, swapped or reissued anything. Every holder holds exactly what they held the day before.

The dev created the egg. The community becomes its next evolution.
02What FOMOEgg is
FOMOEgg is a meme token on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). It launched on PONS on September 19, 2026. One creator drew an egg. The idea built around it is simple: people write theses about the token on fomo, and every thesis can trigger a buyback and burn. The community writes. The egg eats. The supply shrinks.
The original supply was 1,000,000,000 tokens. Right now 161.87M of them, about 16% of supply, sit at the dead address, 0x…dEaD, where nobody can ever move them again. You don't have to take our word for that number. The burn count on this site reads the chain directly, and the burn address is linked at the bottom of every page.
The contract is 0xee9a89fadf3894fed75bf312f9252f770e287f5a. Any other address is not FOMOEgg.
03The backstory
FOMOEgg started fast. Most of the burn happened in the first five days: by September 24, about 155.9 million tokens had already gone to the dead address. More than 1,300 wallets hold the token, and the original thesis feed reports over 30,000 theses written about the egg.
Then the developer left the community behind. The posts stopped and the replies stopped. For a while his automated system kept running on its own, claiming fees and burning, with no one at the wheel. Then it slowed to a crawl: between October 10 and October 14, the burn count moved by only about 560 tokens.
The holders didn't let go. They kept writing theses on fomo and kept the conversation going. They opened a Telegram at t.me/fomoeggcto. Then they took over. They asked PONS to hand the creator fee to the community, PONS approved it, and today the community is actively developing FOMOEgg itself.
FOMOEgg didn't die when the dev walked away. It hatched.
04How a PONS CTO works
A CTO, or community takeover, is what happens when holders step in to steward a token its creator no longer runs. PONS has a formal process for it. Its takeover page puts it this way: "When a creator walks away, the community can take over. Tell us who you are, what you have already done, and where the community lives. We review every application and, when it holds up, redirect the creator fees to the takeover wallet."
Here is how that played out for FOMOEgg:
- ApplyThe community filed an application at cto.ponsfamily.com: who is leading, what is already built, where the community lives, and the wallet that should receive the creator fee.
- ReviewApproved Sep 25, 2026
PONS reviewed the application and approved it. The email said the PONS team would begin the redirect process, with a 72-hour freeze before execution. - The 72-hour freezePONS put the change on chain as a pending proposal. For 72 hours it cannot execute. The window is public, so anyone can see the change coming, and PONS can still cancel it if something is wrong.
- The on-chain switchExecuted Oct 14, 2026 · 7:06 PM ET
Once the freeze ends, the change opens for execution. It takes one transaction. After it confirmed, the token's launch record on PONS names the community wallet as the creator-fee recipient.
A few things a CTO does not do. It does not touch the token contract, the liquidity pool or the tax rate. The creator tax set at launch is unchanged; only where it goes has changed. And fees credited to the original creator before the switch stay his. The community starts from the switch forward, which is how it should be.

05What the community runs now
The point of a takeover is not the takeover. It is what you build the morning after. The community did not wait for the switch to start: it rebuilt fomoegg.com from the ground up as a new site, with every page tied to something you can check. Here is what is live today:
None of this belongs to one person. The site, the race and the burn tracking are built in public by holders, and the rules page records every change with its date, its reason and who approved it. That is what it means for the community to develop FOMOEgg itself: the work is visible, and anyone can check it.
06Paying it forward
FOMOEgg is not the only coin whose developer walked away. It happens all the time, and the holders left behind usually don't know where to start. We didn't either. We learned it one step at a time: gathering the proof, writing the application, waiting out the freeze, signing the switch.
So we wrote it down and opened the door. At fomoegg.com/cto-help, the FOMOEgg community now helps other communities whose developer left. Tell us about your coin, and we'll walk you through what worked for us. Approval is always the launchpad's call, never ours, but no community should have to figure it out alone.
As for FOMOEgg itself: no dates and no promises. When the community ships something new, it gets posted here first, with the proof linked. Every thesis writes the next chapter, and every burn makes it permanent.
07How to join
Same token. Same burn. Same history. Pull up a seat.
The official links are fomoegg.com and t.me/fomoeggcto. Nobody from the community will ever ask for your keys or your seed phrase. Treat any message that does as fake, and report it in the Telegram.
Not financial advice. FOMOEgg is a community meme token. Nothing here is an offer, a recommendation or a promise of any price or return. Crypto is volatile and you can lose what you put in. Do your own research and only use what you can afford to lose.
