Most are tokens deployed on an existing chain using shared code, then traded in pools. Anyone can make one in minutes.
How to check it yourself
- Find the contract on a block explorer and check the creation date and the creator address.
- Look up the token's trading pool on a DEX tracker and note how much liquidity sits in it.
- Check whether the contract source is verified, so you can see which standard template it uses.
